alexander mcqueen heels . h&m leather-esque pants . plaid hat purchased at sheckys.com event in nyc with fellow friend and blogger allison . DIY fingerless gloves . bracelet from istanbul . quilted turquoise tote by me .
these are the daytime shots of this outfit that i'd posted a little while back. i'm not usually comfortable with wearing so much pink, but i thought all the colors together from the metallic periwinkle of the heels to the turquoise of my bag and the plaid of the hat worked together. the leatheresque pants helped offset some of the sweetness from such a girly shade. and even though wearing a pink poncho isn't a norm for me, it felt fun stepping outside my comfort zone with something different.
have you stepped outside your comfort style zone lately? what have you tried or want to try?
