everything on this table and bulletin board was hand made.
even the books and receipts were hand written...
me with the designer of sang a
ever since attending sang a's collection presentation last february i haven't been able to get the brand out of my head. there's something really satisfying about finding a label not everyone is talking about yet... 'cause when it comes to most fashion blogging, it's the same brands over and over and over again. but anyway, that's not really the point.
the sang a aesthetic is everything a blogger, whose blog is entitled 'vogue gone rogue,' would love. there's something a bit different, a little quirky, unusual, unique and fun about the styles. little square purses fold into a completely different shape... textured leather reminiscent of bubble wrap... edgier versions of bags i used to carry to school. every item has that special something and when viewed all together, the collection has a remarkable amount of cohesiveness. different styles born of the same concept.
this is fashion design at it's best. and in today's world where every other person likes to claim design talent, throw together a few random pieces and call it a collection, finding a brand like sang a is a breath of fresh air.
now onto the hard task of choosing which one of these stunning pieces i'm going to buy...
suggestions thoroughly appreciated.
