halloween photo diary

some photos from last night's festivities on halloween with matt and jonathan (who went as a black mage and devil respectively). i went as battle alice, or alice gone rogue, aka alice with an axe after ridding wonderland of all the bad people. in these photos we're hanging out at the rooftop lounge at 95 wall. we ended the night at the boom boom room and le bain at the standard. you can some more photos on my facebook page here. what did you guys go as for halloween? i love looking at halloween costumes so i hope you'll tweet me some photos.

  3. I haven't actually dressed up for Halloween in ages and I think part of it is because I feel like the creativity is gone from it - costumes now seem very plastic and very of-the-moment, not something that required a lot of thought and commitment. (Maybe I take costumes too seriously? ha!) But anyway, this is totally brilliant and I absolutely love how you pulled it off. Exactly what I wish more people did on Halloween!

Oh, it's also become sort of an afterthought to me now because my grandmother's birthday (and actually her wedding anniversary) is on the same day so Halloween just sort of flies by the wayside. Clearly I need to come visit you next year, though!

  4. This is an amazing costume Kristy! It looks like you took a lot of time and care into the look. You look spooky and perfect for Halloween. Matt and Johnathan looked wonderful too. I like that whoever went as Satin- kept it not too costume-y if you get what I am saying....
Great costumes! I didn't go as anything. I don't typically dress up for Halloween- I am not much of a party person...lol :)
