juxtaposed

mixing flowy, feminine silhouettes with edgier items like buckles and leather jackets is one of my favorite ways of putting an outfit together. duality and juxtaposition give things an interesting quality -- everything, not just fashion. just look at the location these photos were taken.
there's a certain harmony that occurs from acknowledging both sides of your personality in one outfit that makes me feel very comfortable in my clothes.

  3. Ahh yes. Part II of The Athena Chronicles, whereupon Athena finds herself in NYC after walking away from the devastation of her former empire in the first installment. I love the jacket/dress juxtaposition, and look forward to Part III.

  5. That leather jacket is awesome. I love how you had a girly look with the dress and then added the leather jacket for a edgy look.

    Great job!
